We want to ensure you and your pet have a good grooming experience. Here are answers to some common questions so you know what to expect.

HOW LONG WILL THE GROOMING TAKE?
It depends on the condition of the animal, but typically a thorough grooming at our shop will take 5 to 6 hours.

HOW MUCH WILL THE GROOMING COST?
There are a lot of factors that determine the cost of your pet's grooming, including breed, size, condition of coat, etc. Note that we are a fair-priced shop.

DOES MY PET HAVE TO STAY ALL DAY?
Generally yes, but it depends on the activity of the day. Typically all animals scheduled for the day will be rough groomed first, then they will be bathed, and finally all will be finish groomed. The process requires animals to be at the shop for at least five to six hours. However, if you need special arrangements, please mention when making your appointment.

CAN I STAY WITH MY PET?
No, our shop is not set up for pet owners to stay and wait for the grooming to be complete. The bathing and grooming areas are in clear view. For the safety of your pet and the groomer, we cannot allow owners to remain in the shop.

WHEN SHOULD I COME BACK?
We will call you when your pet is ready to be picked up. Note that it is perfectly fine to drop your pet off in the morning and pick him up in the evening (i.e. before and after your work hours). We are typically open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

MY PET CANNOT STAY IN A CRATE ALL DAY; CAN HE STILL BE GROOMED?
Most pets rest all day, and the crates are a good resting spot. Additionally, dogs are den animals and they really do like to be enclosed in crates. The groomer is visible to them throughout the entire day, and the animals actually enjoy watching the action.

MY PET DOES NOT LIKE OTHER ANIMALS; WILL HE BE OK?
Yes, your pet will be completely fine. The animals do not fraternize in the shop.

MY PET IS AGGRESSIVE/BITES; WILL YOU BE ABLE TO GROOM HIM?
This is determined on a case-by-case basis. When calling to make an appointment, please provide as much information as possible. Complete honestly is very important for the safety of both the pet and the groomer.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY PET BE GROOMED?
There are too many variables to provide a universal answer. Some pets can be groomed as infrequently as once per year. Others require more regular grooming. An assessment can be made upon grooming the pet and discussing factors with the owner.

CAN I BATHE MY PET MYSELF AND BRING TO YOU FOR A CUT?
Absolutely not. Despite what many think, the bath is actually THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of the grooming process. It can sometimes take HOURS for one dog to be properly bathed and to remove build-up of old products and contaminants.
